Our seafood products are wild caught and/or sourced under one of these minimum sustainability guidelines: BAP 2 Star, Global GAP, ASC, MSC.
You can count on our beef to be free of antibiotics, added hormones or growth promotants, and fed a 100% vegetarian diet.
All our poultry products come from animals raised cage free, fed a 100% vegetarian diet, and never administered antibiotics – EVER.
Our pork is free of antibiotics and hormones, fed a 100% vegetarian diet, and all animals are raised humanely with ample room to roam and free of farrowing or gestation crates.

I’d love for you to take some time and read the impressive legacies and impacts my partners, their parents, and grandparents have had on this industry. Above all else, I’m a family man and enjoy spending time with my grandchildren. I also love to play golf and fish when weather and time permit.
Food is a part of my identity, and so is entrepreneurship. I love cooking and I also love learning about business. I graduated University of Houston in 2017 with double majors in Finance and Entrepreneurship. During my time in school, I worked for various restaurants while working on school start up projects involving technology and pop up restaurant. Currently, I work provide accounting and IT support to Mission Driven Meat and Seafood.
Aside food and business, I am also passionate about art, especially fashion. To me, food is to connect, business is to deal, and fashion is to express. My quote on my online dating profile is that “I can confidently cook a “pho”nomenal bowl of authentic pho!”
Having now joined the Mission Driven team I’m excited to help current and new customers in their growth, supplying great quality products that also support better utilization throughout the supply chain.
I have had the great fortune to partner with dear friends along the way to build several of the largest meat processing facilities in the US and have now built two of the largest food service distribution businesses in Mexico alongside my friends, the Najera family. Today, Martha and I are especially proud to see our son Sam taking our family industry in yet another direction as we seek to find value for consumers and producers in products that are too often overlooked and undervalued.
The Rosenthal family also proudly supports Texas A&M’s Rosenthal Meat Science & Technology Center – the most comprehensive facility of its kind in the US. Today, with the oversight their father, Ben and Ashli serve as co-presidents of Standard Meat company and are always quick to volunteer Standard’s services to support any Mission Driven initiative.
In the early 1990’s we joined the Freedman Family to start Northern Beef Industries, a meat export company focused on selling underutilized meats and by-products to Mexico and Latin America. Taking these products to other markets bringing added value to the animal. NBI celebrated 25 years in business last year.
Laura and I are proud to be a part of this talented group of friends with so much experience and long history in the food business. Sam is taking this ongoing tradition one more generational step, surrounding himself with years of diverse talent and experience. We believe in the “Mission”!
